Chesapeake Women's Rugby: Chesapeake Women’s Rugby Football Club has been a Baltimore institution since 1974! We are a diverse and friendly team that’s always looking for new players. We’re serious about rugby, but we’re also serious about having fun. Whether you’ve been playing for years or you have no idea what the game is about, come to a practice and give Chesapeake Rugby a try. It’s a great way to meet people and get some exercise. Plus it’s a great stress-reliever! All games are at Bocek Field Park Practices are Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm to 9pm at Druid Hill Park beginning mid-August. | Frontrunners: The Baltimore Front Runners is the local chapter of the International Front Runners, a LesBiGay running, walking and social group. Anyone is welcome to join in our social and running get-togethers. If you're not inclined to join in the physical activity, or just want to meet us, come on down. Saturdays: 9:15am, Run or walk from O'Donnell Square in Canton. Brunch afterwards at the Kiss Cafe in the Can Company. Tuesday nights: 6:45pm, meet in front the "5k running" store, 736 Bond St. in Fells Point, run through the Inner Harbor. Meet after at the Gin Mill on Boston St. for 1/2 Price Burgers and 2 for 1 Draft Beers. Thursday nights: 6:45pm, also in front of "5k running" store, run Patterson Park area. Meet after the run at Taco Fiesta for 1/2 Price Burritos and $1 Drafts. |
